FAQ

What is included?

All instruction, a business plan for your blog (that we’ll formulate together,) a template for successful pitching, a blog style kit template, and other helpful resources. You’ll also receive access to our private Facebook group community.

A gourmet lunch, healthy snacks, coffee and tea, and a wine hour with small bites is included in the cost of the retreat.

What is not included?

Transportation to/from the workshop is not included. No photography or writing instruction or one-on-one coaching is provided as a part of the one day workshop.

As this is a one day event, no accommodation is coordinated.

Do I need to have a blog?

For this workshop, we ask that attendees have either an active blog/website or social presence as this will ensure you get the most of out of the curriculum. All levels are welcome.

Can I come by myself?

Yes! Absolutely. We are all for coming with a friend, but know that you will also be making some new ones :)

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself and any preferred note-taking tools. If you want to capture some photos of the day, please feel free to bring a camera!

What can I expect from the workshop?

We’ll be teaching with a focus on the business side of blogging, but paired with deep dives into the creative process and the intention behind our work. Expect a full day — but a fun, relaxed, and restorative one as well.

All classes are in a group setting, but we are intentionally keeping the group small to maintain a cozy and personalized experience. Our focus is on providing the exercises and tools that you need to get your blog and business to the next level, and also on building community and on women supporting women.

How is this different from your carmel retreat?

This is a true workshop in the sense that we have not included any area excursions nor accommodations as a part of the event. We have condensed the curriculum to be digestible and powerful within the one day timeframe, but we simply cannot include everything we cover in a multi-day retreat.

Unlike our Carmel retreat, the one day workshop does not include any field exercises nor our photography and writing curriculum.
